NAVELIM: The Congress MLA from Navelim Luizinho Faleiro countering Pratima Coutinho’s charge with a photograph, said “Photos tell their own story. I as a disciplined party soldier was present for meetings. I need not say more.”
The Congress Navelim workers however said that while campaign was on, Luizinho had got a call from Sonia Gandhi to reach Kerala for party work for which he had gone.
Sources from the Congress Navelim also revealed that the Navelim ZP jurisdiction extends up till Velim and only two Panchayats of Navelim fall under Navelim ZP. The Congress workers in Navelim said that they have given lead to Pratima in the village that fall in Navelim.
