Goa: The Goa Challenge leg of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour witnessed thrilling contests and remarkable performances by beach volleyball athletes from around the world. Tokyo 2020 Olympics bronze medalists Joana Mader & Anouk Verge-Depre of Switzerland clinched their first Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Medal, emerging victorious with a gold medal. They secured their win by defeating the German pair of Karla Borger & Sandra Ittlinger with a score of 2-0 (21-19, 21-16) in the Women’s Final.

In an equally gripping Men’s Final, Austria’s Robin Seidl & Moritz Pristsuz showcased their resilience, making a stunning comeback from match point down to seize a well-deserved victory against the Spanish duo of Pablo Herrera & Adrian Gavira. The final score was 2-1 (18-21, 21-16, 17-15) in favour of the Austrian team.

The English pair of Joaquin Bello & Javier Bello earned the bronze medal in the Men’s section, showcasing their skill and determination. Similarly, Spain’s Daniela Alvares & Tania Moreno displayed their talent and secured the bronze medal in the Women’s section.
