Maha CM spends first night in Goa; leaves for Mumbai on Friday

For the first time in the history of India, a CM has spent his first night outside the state. After a day of dramatic developments, Eknath Shinde who was sworn in as Chief Minister of Maharashtra Thursday evening, returned to Goa early Friday morning. His supporting MLAs were jubilant that their leader was sworn in as CM in a surprising move. Shinde thanked the BJP for supporting him and said he would work to fulfil the vision of Balasaheb Thackeray for Maharashtra. The rebel MLAs will leave for Mumbai Friday along with Shinde.
