MARGAO: The Konkan Railway Police arrested a man named Rohan from Thane, Maharashtra, who allegedly molested a minor girl who was travelling with her family on a train.
Based on a complaint filed by the victim’s mother, the Konkan Railway Police have booked the accused under IPC Section 354 A (1) (i) and 8 of the Goa Children’s Act.
According to police sources, the accused and his family were travelling on the same train as the victim and her family when the incident occurred. The incident took place at Pernem. The victim’s family was en route to Mangaluru, while the accused and his family were heading to Kolkata.
