Mahanand remanded

The alleged serial killer Mahanand Naik was on Tuesday remanded to 14 days judicial custody by a local court here.
The accused was in the custody of the Maina Curtorim police since the last 14 days in connection with the murder of Deepali Jotkar at Fatorpa two years ago.
It is learnt that the Quepem police are likely to take Mahanand Naik in police custody in connection with a murder in their jurisdiction.
