A resident of Banda-Maharasthra was robbed of cash of Rs 5 lakh at Ambod-Mapusa on Wednesday morning.
According to Mapusa Police, Abhijit Pilarnkar had come to Mapusa in his car (GA-04-C-7444) for some personal work. After having lunch at about 2 pm, Abhijit went to a travel agent’s office in the same building.
“However, when he returned from the travel agent’ office at about 4.30 pm, he found the window of his car broken and brief case containing cash of Rs 5 lakh missing,” informed police.
Abhijit immediately lodged a complaint with Mapusa Police. Assistant Sub Inspector Vithu Naik is investigating the case.
