Maharashtra to empanel GMC in its health insurance scheme

PANJIM: Following Goa’s decision to charge non-residents at state-run hospitals, the Maharashtra government will empanel Goa Medical College in its health insurance scheme.
After a late night meet with Goa’s Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, Mahashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis announced this on social media.
“Met with @visrane and resolved issues related to patients from Maharashtra, particularly Sindhudurga district seeking medical services at Goa Medical College (GMC),” Fadnavis said.
He added, “We have decided to onboard GMC as part of the hospitals empanelled under Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Aarogya Yojna (MJPJAY).”
