PANJIM: Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress on Sunday protested the price hike in gas cylinder by Rs 50.
“The women of Congress hit the streets because they are all angry and do not know what to do or how to agitate and whom to complain. Today the cylinder price is hiked by BJP by Rs 50 and we condemn the party for the price hike,” said Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress President Pratima Coutinho while speaking to reporters near Congress house in the city on Sunday.
“Today the country is getting cheated because Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was actually a tea vendor but see today he has cheated the people,” she said.
Led by State Mahila Congress President Pratima Coutinho, party workers staged a demonstration with empty cylinders while criticising the Centre for raising the price of cylinders.
