MARGAO: All India Mahila Congress Incharge Dr Seema Fernandes on Saturday stated Congress has always respected women and she is confident that women in Goa will play a major role in bringing back Congress to power.
Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress appointed 10 Mahila Block Congress Committees and handed over the letters to the respective presidents of each block by Dr Seema in the presence of Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress President Beena Naik, at a function held in South Goa District Congress Office.
Beena appealed to all the newly appointed block presidents and other office bearers to go all out and strengthen Congress Party at the booth levels.
