Maid held for theft HERALD REPORTER

MARGAO, MAY 5
Margao police arrested a 65-year-old maid servant in connection with the theft that had taken place in the house of Neil Pereira, a resident of Margao.
Investigating Officer, PSI Girendra Naik informed that the police have succeeded in recovering a part of the gold ornaments valued around Rs 1.90 lakh.
The incident had occurred between January 2009 to April 2009. The maid servant hails from Cortalim, the police said.
