PANJIM: Fearing arrest, Lanny Fialho, the main accused in the Candolim Cannabis cultivation case applied for anticipatory bail in the NDPS Court Mapusa.
The court has scheduled the hearing in the matter on December 11. Fialho, a weii-known Candolim-based restaurateur is charged under sections of NDPS for cultivating Cannabis in Aradi village and evading the arrest since Wednesday.
Police have already arrested two workers on Wednesday from the property that belongs to Fialho as per the Government records.
Calangute Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi said that further investigation is in progress. He informed that Police are also looking out for his associates in this trade.
