MARGAO: A resident of Macazana Antonieta Vas e Costa has urged Maina-Curtorim police to probe into her complaint against the sarpanch and three other panch members, besides the contractor, in connection with the tender relating to de-silting of drains and cutting of bushes from the road side.
In her complaint, Antonieta alleged that till date neither work on de-silting of drains nor any cutting of bushes has been executed by the contactor.
She, however, said that despite having knowledge of the fact that no such workers have been executed by the contractor, the certificate was signed by the panch members stating they are fully satisfied with the de-silting of drains and cutting of bushes.
It has now come to light that the contractor had not completed the work raising many questions.
When contacted, Maina-Curtorim PI Gurudas Kadam confirmed having received a complaint from Antonieta and said the complaint is being looked into.
