PANJIM: The Panjim Police on Monday morning recovered an unidentified male body found floating at Divja Circle in the city.
On getting the information, the Panjim fire personnel rushed to the spot and removed the body.
The Panjim Police, who conducted the panchanama, recovered a sim card and some cash.
The body was later sent to the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim for post-mortem examination to ascertain the cause of death. Further investigations are on, the police said.
