rnPonda Police recovered the body of a man, believed to have been murdered, from the forest area at Sarvagal-Dharbandora on Sunday.
rnPonda Police informed that the body was found in decomposed state and the post mortem report revealed head injuries.
rnBased on the report, Ponda Police have registered case of murder against unknown persons.
rnPolice suspect that the murder could have taken place elsewhere and later the body was thrown in the forest.
rn Police are on the lookout for missing persons in the State.
rnMeanwhile, another male corpse was recovered few metres away from the road at Shapur- Ponda on Monday at about 8.45 am.
rnPolice informed that the deceased was wearing blue coloured T-shirt and grey coloured trouser and the deceased could be in his late thirties.
rnThe body was sent for postmortem at Goa Medical College Hopsitals in Bambolim.
