Outgoing Goa Governor Satya Pal Malik on Tuesday said that his ten-month long experience in the State has been nothing but ‘pleasant’.
Malik said that Goa will always be very close to his heart and he would love to visit the State in times ahead.
“I am glad that I had an opportunity to serve in a beautiful State like Goa. During my tenure in Goa, which was almost ten months, the experience has been nothing but pleasant,” he said in his farewell message.
Malik said that the people of Goa are very warm and generous and he got tremendous love from the people. “Goa is blessed with natural beauty and has its own unique identity,” he added.
In conclusion he said, “As I depart tomorrow, I wish to convey my best wishes to the people of Goa and pray that the State remains strong with all its solidarity and harmony.”
