SATTARI: Government Primary School building in Maloli village, Sattari is in a dilapidated condition since the past few years, thus posing a serious threat to the lives of students.
The Maloli villagers said that they have informed the Valpoi ADEI office several times and have also requested the officer to repair the village school building. Besides the local panchayat has also been informed regarding the bad condition of the school building.
Till date no action has been taken regarding the same.
“The school’s rooftop and walls have been lying broken for years, besides the floor tiles are already come out. The school with around 15 students is running in the congested room which is built next to the school building”, the villagers informed.
“Our village primary school building is in a very bad state since past many years. The PTA members have already informed the Valpoi ADEI officer regarding the same, but not action has been taken till date”, said villager Nandakumar Kopardekar.
“For the past many years the school building is in bad shape and no one is repairing the school building even after informing the concerned authorities. Now the villagers have started sending their children to Convent School as the government school is posing a serious threat to the lives of children”, said another villager.
