Cases of the kidnapping of minors are rising in the state. This time the offence is even more serious since the act has been committed by the boy’s uncle. The Margao Police arrested 28-year-old Sunil Pujari of Rawanfond Margao for allegedly kidnapping his 7-year-old nephew.
According to Margao Police, the boy’s father, Ravi Pujari filed a complaint stating that his son was kidnapped by the accused over a family dispute. The police have registered an offence under Section 363 for kidnapping and section 8 of the Goa Children’s Act against Sunil.
