MARGAO: A 45-year-old Belgaum native Gangaram Veer, who was living at Guddi, apparently consumed some poison and this morning called up a friend of his to inform about it.
He was rushed to Hospicio from where he was referred to Goa Medical College where he died on Sunday.
He reportedly committed suicide due to some financial problems and his body has been handed over to the family after conducting the post mortem.
Maina Curtorim Police registered his death as unnatural. PSI Parag Parekh is investigating the case.
