Man dies, son seriously hurt in Usgao mishap

A 48-year-old man died, while his son was seriously injured in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a truck at Usgao late Tuesday night.
According to Ponda Police, the mishap occurred when R Dodamani and his son Shivraj (8), who were traveling on a motorcycle (GA-06-H-1413) from Belgaum to Sada-Vasco, collided against truck (MH-12-FC-8357), which was coming in the opposite direction.
R Dodamani died on the way to the hospital, while his son was admitted in GMC Hospital in Bambolim.
Ponda Police arrested truck driver Madanrao Jagtap (24) from Maharastra and is investigating the case.
