Man found dead at Sernabatim

A unknown man was found dead in suspicious circumstances close to the Sernabatim beach at Colva.
Police rushed to the beach after receiving information that a body of an unknown man was lying in a pond close to the beach.
The unknown person is believed to be aged between 35-40 years and has sustained injuries on his eyes and face.
The body was later sent to the Hospicio mortuary for post mortem examination.
The Colva police has registered a case of unnatural death and officials said the police would not hesitate to register a case of murder if any foul play is detected during the autopsy.
Further investigations are on.
