Man protesting against open of Goa Miles counter at Dabolim Airport, arrested

There was a commotion ahead of the opening of the app-based taxi GoaMiles taxi counter at Dabolim Airport. Valencio Rodrigues objected to the opening of the counter and stated that he is fighting in the interest of locals and the state. He claimed that GoaMiles is a fraud amounting to five crore rupees and demanded a display of the GST number above the counter.

Valencio was roughed up and hauled away by the Vasco police and later arrested under the preventive section for creating a nuisance. Valencio will be produced before the Sub Divisional Magistrate Court Vasco on Tuesday.
