PONDA: In an unusual incident on Monday, Ponda Fire Personnel rescued Jagdish Naik, 45, from a tree at Gaunem Bandora.
Jagdish, resident of Kundaim, had climbed a mango tree to pluck mangoes but after reaching a branch, 50-feet from the ground, had the misfortune of dislocating his hand and got stuck on the tree, unable to make any movement because of his hand. .
Noticing Jagdish, people called up the Ponda Fire Brigade. The fire personnel reached Gaunem much to the relief of Jagdish.
