According to Anjuna police, a person named Ganguly complained that some locals attempted to stab him and assaulted his six other companions, who had come to Goa on November 29 after passing out at air force camp at Bangalore.
The complainant further stated that as they were proceeding on four separate vehicles, a vehicle dashed against a local’s vehicle, resulting in heated exchanges and within few minutes 10 people arrived at the site armed with bamboos, etc. The six trainees were beaten up, while a local attempted to stab Ganguly who held the knife with his hand, resulting in deep injuries.
