BICHOLIM: Water Resource Minister Dayanand Mandrekar has said that that he would propose a resolution in the assembly in favor of Mhadei and expressed confidence that all parties would support the same.
Mandrekar was speaking after inaugurating the walking track at Bicholim, on Sunday.
“I will bring up a resolution in support of Mhadei and am very confident that all the parties will support it,” Mandrekar told.
He came down heavily on people who are trying to mislead people without knowing the importance of water flowing through Mhadei. “Karnataka is doing everything to divert water from Malprabha River and if Goa spends a little on advocates it is not a big deal. There is no need to make a fuss if the advocate stays in a five star hotel,” he said.
