MARGAO: The engine of a Mangalore-Mumbai special train bound for Mumbai derailed on Friday morning due to a landslide on the South Central Railway line at Sonawali on the Karnataka border near Goa.
As informed by Konkan Railways officials five trains on the Konkan railway line and one such train on South Central railway line have been cancelled.
No one was injured in the crash. The train was later brought to Kulem railway station.
