MARGAO: Chain snatchers have become active in Salcete again with Therezinha Custodio Colaco, Coleadogor, Raia becoming a latest victim when her mangalsutra was snatched by miscreants on Sunday morning.
In her complaint to the Maina Curtorim police Colaco has stated that on Sunday morning while she was on her way for mass to Holy Family Chapel, Coleadogor, two persons on motorcycle snatched mangalsutra from her neck worth Rs 78,000 and vanished. An offence of theft has been registered against unknown persons and investigation is in progress.
