CANACONA: Suresh Fakirappa Upin, a resident of Haveri in Karnataka, who was detained by Canacona police at Saturday weekly bazaar at Chaudi for allegedly applying chemical in powder form to Totapuri mangoes was remanded in judicial custody for three days.
Sources said that the accused Suresh Fakirappa Upin who was detained by Canacona police on Saturday over allegations of applying some powder supposed to be calcium carbide to mangoes was produced before the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Canacona who remanded him in judicial custody for three days.
