Manhunt on for Taleigao gang war accused

PANJIM: Police have launched a manhunt for the eighth accused in the gang war in which a youth from Taleigao lost his life due to excessive bleeding after his left hand was chopped off in the late night attack on July 7.
Panjim police has summoned a number of persons to question in the crime which initially began at Nagali in Taleigao where two local youth Eknath Gauns and Yuvnath Kuttikar were injured and then ended near the Ribandar ferry wharf in the gruesome attack and chopping of the hand. 
Old Goa Police had apprehended the three prime accused and the fourth was arrested by Panjim police. The four were identified as Jack Oliviera (30 years), Kamlesh Kundaikar (26 years), Gavrish Bandodkar, all residents of Nagali in Taleigao and Manish Hadfadkar (22 years), a resident of Chorao. 
On July 9, they were sent to custody. Jack, Kamlesh and Manish were arrested by Old Goa Police and their custody has now been transferred to Panjim Police for further investigation. 
Meanwhile, out of the four masked accused who had attacked Eknath and Yuvnath, three were arrested and the search for the fourth accused is on. Panjim police has summoned other youth who are allegedly group members of either gangs for investigation.
