PANJIM: Manipal Hospital got the NABL accreditation for Molecular Testing. It already had a NABH accreditation which followed all the standards of testing and now it has been accredited for NABL.
It will also be the first private hospital to start ‘Trunaat which is chip-based RT-PCR’ which can do around 40 tests per day. Tests such as Rapid antigen, antibody testing, and Plasma donation by Apheresis technique are done in the hospital which has in-house all bloodmarkers to know the severity of Covid-19, that is IL6, CRP, D-dimer, and Procalcitonin.
