MANIPUR VIOLENCE: Opposition demands discussion, speakers says later

Panjim: Once again on Friday, the Opposition MLAs in Goa Assembly
arrived dressed in black and demanded a discussion on the Manipur violence.
However Speaker Tawadkar assured the house that
he will consider the proposal after the question hour session.

This demand resulted in a heated ruckus in the house. The
opposition MLAs stood and shouted demanding a proper discussion on the burning
issue of Manipur. They also accused the Government of not serious about the
issues in country and said that Opposition is not politicizing this issue but
the ruling is polarizing the Manipur violence.
