MAPUSA: The Mapusa Municipal fish market, which had been closed down for nearly three weeks, has reopened after 20 days on Tuesday. The market was shut earlier as a precautionary measures as 19 fish vendors, including the president of the fish vendor’s association had tested positive. Now, in order to maintain social distancing, only 30 vendors will be allowed to operate in the market. Mapusa Municipal Council Chairperson, Ryan Braganza, called on the public to take precautions, care and avoid crowding.
