PANJIM: Rajya Sabha MP Vinay Tendulkar has rubbished all allegations levelled against him by Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte and has warned of issuing Khaunte a legal notice.
Tendulkar, BJP Goa unit’s former president has claimed that Khaunte, a former minister, is frustrated after losing cabinet status. “Rohan Khaunte is frustrated after he lost his ministership. The man arrested (in rave party case) came to meet me and this man also met the Chief Minister and other political leaders also last December. He spoke about his partnership in a cricket tournament,” he said, while denying any links with accused in the drug party case.
The MP further demanded that Khaunte either prove the allegations against him (Tendulkar) or apologise. “I will serve him (Khaunte) a legal notice. He should legally prove his allegations or apologise or else I will put a defamation case against him. He is a liar and is 100 per cent wrong,” said Tendulkar.
