Renu Dhariyal Sets Guinness World Record for Longest Hair on a Living Woman

Indian content creator Renu Dhariyal has earned a place in the Guinness World Records after being recognised for having the longest hair on a living person (female).

Dhariyal’s striking raven-black hair measures an astonishing 271.50 cm (8 ft 10 in) in length — just a fraction shorter than the recorded height of Robert Wadlow, the tallest person ever, who stood at 272 cm (8 ft 11.1 in).

Her record-breaking hair was officially verified in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, in April, allowing her to take the title from Ukraine’s Aliia Nasyrova. Nasyrova’s hair measured 257.33 cm (8 ft 5.3 in).

Dhariyal has also been sharing her hair-care secrets with others. A content creator and YouTuber, she regularly shares beauty and hair-care tips, particularly with women interested in maintaining long and healthy hair.
