PANJIM: North Goa Principal District & Sessions Court on Monday appointed the Mapusa Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) as Commissioner to record the statement of Serula Comuindade Attorney Agnelo Lobo in the cheating and land grab case in which former Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar is allegedly involved.
Judge B P Deshpande directed that the JMFC record Lobo’s statement on April 6 at 4 pm in the Serula Comuindade office at Porvorim and submit it to the court by April 10. Lobo had skipped court summons and submitted an application to the court that he was unable to come to court as he was suffering from paralysis since 2010 and is confined to the wheelchair needing support of two persons to get up and walk.
