PORVORIM: Pratik Naik from Mapusa was severely injured in a road mishap near Vadakade, Porvorim on Saturday night and was admitted to Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim in a critical condition.
As per the police, the Porvorim police station received a call at around 9:30 pm regarding the accident. Hawaldar Preetam Dabholkar rushed to the site which is when Naik was found in an injured state while his scooter was lying on the road. Hawaldar Dabholkar took the injured person to the Goa Medical College and Hospital and conducted the panchnama.
The reason behind the mishap is not known. Injured Pratik Naik works at Nexa showroom at Porvorim and was returning back home after the shift.
