Mapusa MLA makes public appearance

MAPUSA: The ailing Mapusa MLA, Francis D’Souza, made a sudden and first appearance, since returning from the US, at the launch of the work of illuminating public streets/places in the town undertaken through the Goa State Urban Development Agency (GSUDA), on Tuesday.
The foundation stone for the works was laid by Urban Development Minister Milind Naik at an estimated cost of around Rs 4,26,21,804. Kenkre Electricals has been awarded the work tender.
The works include supply, installation, testing and commissioning of LED street lighting, a LED 20 meters high mast lighting and underground cabling in Mapusa.
