MAPUSA: Vice-chairman of the Mapusa Carnival Committee informed that the floats, which will be held on February 25, will be flagged off from St Jerome Church, Mapusa at 4.30 pm.
From there it will proceed towards Bodgini via Vodafone gallery, taxi stand, Gandhi Chowk and will culminate at the new bus stand area. Also the four-day food and cultural festival will be held between February 22 and February 25.
Committee’s general secretary Sandeep Falari said Lorna’s live show will be the main attraction, which has been scheduled on the third day of the festival, which will also have DJ music, live bands, Goan traditional dances, fire dancers and more. He added that there will be entertainment, food stalls, automobile display stalls, amusement park for children etc.
