Police on Monday arrested 19-year-old Karan Shinde from Sanguem for allegedly
murdering Nepali national Nabin BK. During the investigation, Mapusa police
obtained CCTV footage in which the deceased was seen with a person early
Saturday morning. The police launched a manhunt and the accused was arrested.
During interrogation, the accused confessed that they both decided to drink
alcohol in the field and got into an argument, after which, the accused
allegedly stabbed the deceased with a broken glass bottle on his neck.
