MAPUSA: The top kitchen area of a restaurant owned by one Jeevan Gadekar in the Mapusa market caught fire due to the LPG cylinder leakage.
The loss is estimated to be around Rs 50,000. However, no injuries were reported.
The fire incident took place at 11 am due a leakage following which the cooks rushed downstairs and alerted everyone.
The fire station and police personnel rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident.
