MAPUSA: Mapusa Sub-division Police carried out special drive to arrest criminals involved in more than three physical and property offences registered against them.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi, Anjuna Police have arrested four persons having criminal records identified as Omkar Palyekar, Clueophus Fernandes, Pravin Bhatkhande and Pranesh Divkar.
Mapusa Police have arrested four persons having criminal records identified as Shailendra Garad, Parimal Pandit, Rashid Siddhique and Swapnil Masurkar. After the arrest, they were produced before Deputy Collector Mapusa.
“We also carried out special drive of arresting hawkers and vagabonds moving in Mapusa Sub Division area during which, Anjuna Police has arrested 15 persons U/s 41 of Cr.PC and section 34 of Indian Police act. The priority will be given to conduct such drives in future,” Jivba Dalvi, SDPO Mapusa said.
They were identified as Chandabashya Chperband, Raj Bhaskar Huller both natives of Bijapur Karnataka; Sidhappa Mallappa Nijapur native of Karnataka; Kartik Chandra Roy, Mithun Das, Ukil Kisku all three natives of Dinajpur West Bengal; Chandu Soren, Tala Marandi, Chunda kisku, Mangalo Murmu all four natives of Borio in Jharkhand; Rajkumar Kushwana and Ratan Kushwana natives of Madhya Pradesh; Saheb Hembram, Subhodh Roy both natives of Godda in Jharkhand and Mithun Das native of Dinajpur, West Bengal.
Mapusa Police Station arrested five persons under section 34 of IPC, identified as Naushadahamed B Kanyanwale resident of Housing Board Colony Mapusa, Shahanoor Irfan Gadnapur native of UP, Mahammad Yusuf Muktar Ahmad Khan resident of Khorlim Mapusa, Riyaaz Ahmad Nabisab Yatnalli native of Havri Karnataka and Prabhu Lal Bhairava native of Bhilwara Rajasthan.
Colvale Police also arrested five persons Under section 34 of IPC Act and they are identified as Uvesh native of Sawantwadi Maharashtra, Nitin Bhaskar Jalkant Patil, Kundeep Hariram Langdewde, Ajay Tukaram Chaudhari and Ramchandra Vithal Chaudhari all four natives of Solapur, Maharashtra.
Entire operation was headed by SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi along with Prashal Dessai of Anjuna Police station, Paresh Naik of Mapuca Police station and Somnath Majik of Colvale Police station under Supervision of SP North, Nidhin Valsan.
