PONDA: Marcaim BJP Block Committee on Sunday criticised Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) MLA Sudin Dhavalikar saying despite he being with BJP government for several years, failed to develop Marcaim.
At a press briefing at Talaulim, BJP Marcaim Block Committee Vice-President Sagar Mulvi said, “Dhavalikar failed to upgrade the Marcaim Health Centre. It was built in 1991 but there is no upgradation still now.”
He condemned Dhavalikar for failing to bring new job oriented industries to provide jobs to the locals at Marcaim Industrial Estate. “We have submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister Dr Pramdod Sawant to provide necessary facilities, machineries to Marcaim PHC,” said Mulvi.
“On our part, we have forwarded our representations to the government for development works but it is MLA’s responsibility to conduct follow up of development works. Sudesh Bhingi said, “Dhavalikar had predicted majority votes in Zilla Panchayat elections but though the MGP won seat the voting percentage was low.”
Jayraj Naik said, “MGP’s ZP candidate got around 50 per cent votes this shows people of Marcaim want ‘parivartan’.”
