PONDA: Responding to the allegations levelled by Marcaim BJP Block accusing him of failing to carry out development works in the constituency, local MLA Sudin Dhavalikar asked them to speak on the Rs 70 crore job scam in the PWD.
Speaking to media persons at Durbhat, he said parents work hard to educate their children. From where will they bring money to buy jobs? BJP workers should look into matter so that the poor people get jobs.
Sudin said he had forwarded the file for hotmix carpeting of Durbhat Panchayat road at an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore in 2016 but the BJP government took five years to approve the same and work commenced only in December 2021. Dhavalikar said, “I thank the government for carrying out the work.”
He said BJP failed to carry out new works and claimed that the government is now only inaugurating the highway and bridge works initiated by him along with former CM late Manohar Parrikar and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
