PONDA: Marcaim MLA Sudin Dhavalikar on Friday opened Dhavlim Flyover without government approval, stating that traffic on National Highway as well as local people were inconvenienced due to long pending works. The flyover work was undertaken in 2017 on Farmagudi-Dhavlim Highway.
He even threatened that if government closes the flyover for traffic than he and the locals would reopen it.
“Since last year, officials are promising to open the Dhavlim flyover but failed to honour the promise while public were suffering,” said Dhavalikar. He asked the NH authorities to put concrete to side railings, install sign boards, and speed breakers, so that commuters had a smooth ride.
