PONDA: A group of boys playing football at Mardol found themselves playing a surprise teammate on Monday. As they were playing the ball rolled towards a cow, and that’s when the bovine sprung a surprise.
Attempts by the boys to get back the ball failed as the cow took control of it and refused to part with it. The cow firmly stood her ground without allowing the boys to touch the ball. And then things got more interesting. The cow placed her leg on the ball, kicked it and began moving forward with it.
On seeing this, the amused boys started playing with the cow and tried to take the ball from her possession. As they came closer to her, the cow chased them by attacking them with her horns forcing the boys to run.
The boys standing in opposite direction then attempted to divert the cow’s attention and one of them finally managed to get the ball from the cow.
They continued the game, passing the ball among themselves to keep it away from the cow that by this time was running to gain possesion of ball, and succeeded at times.
The act of the cow surprised many who stopped their game and began recording the cow playing football. A video of this was uploaded on Youtube and forwarded on social media creating ripples within minutes of it being uploaded.
