It is learnt that the City Fathers called on Urban Development Minster Francis D’Souza, besides Fisheries Minister Avertano Furtado and other MLAs to keep them posted on the developments in the Margao civic body.
Though the urban development minister has not handed out any assurance to the councillors, he is learnt that have assured to look into the matter since the Assembly is session.
It is learnt that the City Fathers have decided to wait for a couple of days for the government to take action before chalking out their future course of action.
