MARGAO: Several priests, a nun and other staff of the Clergy Home, Margao on Wednesday tested positive for COVID-19.
Two priests, residents of the Home, who tested positive earlier, have been admitted to the ESI Hospital.
So far, 8 other priests, a nun and four personal attendants and a kitchen staff have been infected.
The asymptomatic patients have been asked to undergo home quarantine. There are in all 17 priests residing in the Clergy Home.
A special visiting team from the hospital conducted tests on the inmates of the Clergy Home.
