MARGAO: Taking cognizance of the water logging and rain-related problems across the town, the Margao Municipal Council (MMC) carried out an inspection on Thursday wherein they identified the areas that needed urgent attention and put a timeline in place to get those issues resolved.
An early morning meeting was called by MMC Chairperson Damodar Shirodkar to take stock of the situation, with choked drains at many places causing problems for pedestrians and motorists. Roads in Borda and Aquem had also developed potholes.
The problems connected to the leaking MMC building too were discussed with temporary measures put in place.
