MARGAO: Rejecting the request to extend the feast fair for three more days, Margao Municipal Council on Monday instructed all the vendors at the feast fair to remove their stalls within the next two days of time.
Rohit Kadam, Chief Officer, Margao MMC has also warned the vendors of action if stalls are not removed. On Monday, a delegation of the feast fair vendors met him requesting to extend the feast fair days.
“The MMC will serve the notice to the vendors or take further action if the stalls are not removed within the given time. I also had a word with the Member Secretary of South Goa Planning and Development Authority (SGPDA) to order for removal of all the stalls which are allowed on their open ground”, said the Chief Officer.
