Margao KTC stand kiosk complain of water logging

Kiosk owners operating from the KTC bus stand, Margao have complained of water logging in the area due to the non-cleaning of the storm water drain.
The owners pointed out that they cannot even open their stalls since the past one week as the entire area was water logged.
They said the drainage was not cleaned during the pre-monsoon drive, literally converted the water channel into a mosquitoe breeding area.
A kiosk owner Shaikh Siraj informed that the authorities have utterly failed to address the problem of clogged drain. He said even waste water is being discharged in the drain in gross violation of the rules.
