Margo municipality called upon Fabrica de Raia members for a joint demarcation of the proposed Sansodo Kabrastan property. During a summons by Margo Municipality, members of Fabrica de Raia expressed their objection to the proposed boundaries, insisting on the presence of their surveyor for clarification.
Despite the disagreement, Fabrica de Raia members clarified that their concern is solely focused on determining accurate boundaries and not against the Kabrastan project itself.
A member of Fabrica de Raia stated, “We will not let them put the stones, since there is no proper plan. We requested that we do the demarcation too. After demarcating the village and the church boundary, which are the same, we shall see about the outcome. As far as the Kabrastan issue is concerned, we are not against what the municipality wants to do.”
The Sarpanch of Raia, present due to the panchayat boundary wall, mentioned, “We didn’t let them lay the stones. The panchayat requested a re-demarcation, and once that is done, we will move forward.”
With police protection secured, the government surveyor affirmed the intention to proceed with the survey and place the boundary stone.
